Mayan Rooms

Six comfortable standard rooms with a private bathroom. Each room has a double and a single bed. It is the perfect no-frills accommodation option for singles or couples who are on a budget. These rooms are located in a one-story building with a shared veranda, surrounded by a grassy area perfect to enjoy the afternoon. This building is easily recognizable by the mural of Mayan god “Maintzunum” Guardian of the Jungle.

Thatch Cabanas

Three cabanas with a thatch roof reflecting the traditional way of living for Belizean Mayan families. Each cabana Includes 2 queen beds, plus a veranda with a beautiful view of the garden. These accomodations are ideal for couples or families that need a bit more space. Our thatch cabanas are located near our restaurant, and with easy access to hiking trails.

Family Suites

Three family suites that offer additional space and comfort. Each suite includes 2 queen beds or queen + king size beds. The suites have a larger, nicer open space, tile floors, and a spacious bathroom. The suites are tucked away in a secluded area of the property, in a two-story building with beautiful view of the Maya Mountains and waterfalls.

  • Rates are in US dollars, and subject to 9% hotel tax and 9% service charge

  • Children under 12 stay free when sharing room with an adult

  • Room rates are based on single or double occupancy

  • Max occupancy in rooms is 2 to 3 people.
    Suites can be configured for 4 by special arrangement.

  • Park fees $5US entrance fee not included in standard reservations

    Please be aware the resort is located inside National Park boundaries. This fee is collected by Park rangers, your donations provides support park conservation and sustainability efforts.

 

Wild Fig Bistro & Bar

Definitely, the focal point of Bocawina Rainforest Resort & Adventures facilities is the restaurant and bar. With an unobstructed view of the rainforest canopied hills one can't help but spend a good portion of their leisure time in The Wild Fig Restaurant. Always with a friendly smile and attentive care, the restaurant staff provide a comfortable and enchanting dining experience.

The Wild Fig Restaurant uses only the freshest ingredients available. We offer international and Central American cuisine, as well as local fare along with Creole dishes.

Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free meals are also available on request.

  • Hiking - over 13 miles of hiking trails from easy to moderate

  • Waterfalls - over 5 different waterfalls that you can explore (Antelope Falls, Bocawina Falls, etc) Follow the waterfall loop for a full day of exploration

  • Swimming - natural freshwater pools of water where you can swim

  • Explore the unexcavated Mayan ruins around the property, grab a map and follow the tracks of the Mayans

Payments

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

For groups with more than 4 rooms please contact us for details.

Cancellations & Refunds

Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing and submitted to Bocawina Rainforest Resort & Adventures.

Full refund will be given on any cancellation made 15 days or more prior to date of arrival less a US$30 handling fee.

Full credit towards future travel -OR- partial refund (50%) will be given on any cancellation made 14 days or more prior to date of arrival less

Any unused portion of hotel and/or any part of package plans and trips not taken by customer’s choice are non-transferable nor refundable.

Insurance

We highly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance should there be unforeseen situations that might cause you to cancel your trip. Bocawina Rainforest Resort & Adventures does not take responsibility for cancelled or partial cancellation of reservations due to natural disasters such as, heavy rains, flooding, storms, hurricanes or illness, flight cancellations, etc. Whenever possible, Bocawina Rainforest Resort & Adventures will work with you to arrange future dates for your trip.
